5  Cell References

As we’ve seen above, the simplest type of cell reference such as A1 contains a column name (e.g. A) followed by a row name (eg. 1). The following are other types of cell references.

5.1 Relative (A1) / absolute ($A$1) / mixed (A$1 or $A1)

5.2 Other types of cell references (eg 1:1 A:A sheet2!A1)
